Appellation: PASO ROBLES

Paso Robles has quickly become a destination for wine lovers of big reds like Zinfandel. Due to its intense micro-climates Paso gives rise to all styles of Zin from the big extracted to the stylishly balanced. Along with its notoriety for Rhone varietals, Paso is quickly becoming recognized as a place to grow and make some excellent Zinfandels.

Grape Varietal: Zinfandel

Zinfandel is one of the most popular wine grapes in the US and especially in California. With its classic blackberry, anise and pepper notes it forms the foundation of many great wines including this CruZin. Originally from Croatia and Italy, Zinfandel is genetically the same as Primitivo (Italy) and Crljenak Kaštelanski (Croatia).
